The mysterious world unfolds in the three-dimensional maze-type pit cave "Miyama Limestone Cave"

This area is rich in limestone, proving that it was once the bottom of the ocean in the Permian period 250 million years ago. Inside the cave, which was excavated in 1965, you can see softly curved walls created by nature, stalactites hanging down like icicles, and countless rocks called stalagmites, which are piled up like bamboo shoots growing from the floor. This limestone cave, which is formed into a vertical three-dimensional maze with several cavities connected like an ant's nest, is said to be rare even worldwide. The mysterious space that transcends time and space is also popular as a date spot. The indoor temperature is maintained at 13°C to 15°C all year round, and it is so cool that you will want to wear a jacket even in the heat of midsummer, making it a popular cooling spot. Since you will be walking up and down the humid and wet ground, we recommend that you wear shoes that are easy to walk in and have a good grip. You can also bring your pets into the cave, so the number of people visiting with pets is increasing year by year.
